In our tests, StormRush stood out for its excellent user experience, functionality, and exceptional bonuses. However, it fell short on game variety, removing fishing games. StormRush is good for players who appreciate slots and live games with plenty of promotions for free gold coins.

There are two virtual currencies you can use: free-play gold coins and promotional super coins. It’s possible to claim coins through a variety of bonuses and giveaways.

• Gold Coins are a free-to-play virtual currency, and at StormRush, you’ll be able to claim plenty of them for free. While they don’t have a monetary value, you can use them liberally to try out different games on the site.
• Super Coins (Sweeps Coins) are the virtual currency used for promotional play, where winnings can be redeemed and converted into cash prizes. To redeem your winnings, you must meet certain requirements, which we’ll go over later.

StormRush offers unique bonuses related to the storm theme, including Daily Charger, Thunder Wheels, Lightning Streak, and Coin Battery. It’s worth mentioning that StormRush offers a purchase package discount on the first 3 purchases. Daily tournaments are the icing on the cake, creating an engaging experience and offering players plenty of free gold coins.

Coin Battery – Play specific games while in SC mode and wait for the battery to fill up with 50 SC worth of winnings. You can then discharge the battery to receive 5 SC. There are around 20 participating games included.

Lightning Streak – This is essentially a reload reward for making 8 qualifying purchases (each at least $19.99). A random bonus is rewarded to you, which can be anywhere from 20% – 100% extra coins.

AMOE – For every handwritten letter you send to A1 Development LLC, you receive 1 SC. You can find the address and further information on the Alternative Method of Entry page.

Refer-A-Friend – When you refer a friend and they sign up and make a purchase of at least $20, you share 25 SC + 900,000 GC.

Daily Tournaments – Daily tournaments are in their own section. At the time of this writing, there was nothing available but a banner stating that tournaments would be “coming soon.”

Buffalo Rush – This mini-game is available every 2 hours with the chance to win up to 100 SC. This is a free bonus, but there’s also the option to purchase and get instant spins, which increases your chance of winning.

Social media: StormCity offers challenges and giveaways from time to time, along with announcements about time-sensitive bonuses.

3.4 How to Claim the Welcome Bonus

Signing up for StormRush took 20 seconds using my Google credentials. Of course, there’s more to do later, but registering and receiving 500,000 GC was lightning-fast. Since my email was verified by signing up with Google, it went even faster. I would go as far to say that this was the easiest sign-up process I’ve experienced.

There are over 1,200 games here, and we tested around 125 of them. We mostly tested slots with features like Hold ‘N’ Link, Bonus Combo, Hold and Win, and Megaways. We also checked out the live dealer game section and played variants of roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and poker.

StormRush primarily relies on smaller providers such as Jili Gaming, Penguin King, and Gaming Corps. It offers Netgame, which was the original sole provider for A1 sites, along with bigger names like BGaming, Betsoft, and Booming Games. All of the software providers are regulated, ensuring fair, random outcomes.

There are no native mobile apps available, but StormRush is fully optimized for mobile with excellent functionality. I didn’t experience any issues playing through my mobile browser, and it’s well laid out for easy navigation.

The minimum purchase is the $4.99 package, which includes 5 Super Coins and 50,000 Gold Coins. I decided to purchase the $19.99 package because I wanted to get the Gold Thunder Wheel incentive. Also, I was able to get 28 Super Coins with it and a whopping 7,000,000 Gold Coins.

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a package while you’re in a free play bonus (daily login etc). With the 25 SC max cap on winning associated to free play bonuses, your coins could become mixed up in this condition. Even if you are using coins you purchased, you may not be able to withdraw more than 25 SC of those winnings.

5.4 Payout Expectations

The minimum redemption amount is 25 SC for gift cards, $50 for PayPal, and $100 for Visa/Mastercard redemptions. The PayPal option makes for a lower-than-average minimum redemption. Prizes can be redeemed through the Push-to-Card system, which is a reliable method. Do keep in mind that if your winnings are connected to a free play bonus, they are capped at 25 SC.

In our experience, payouts took from 2 to 3 days with no delays. This is pretty standard compared to other sweeps casinos that offer similar banking options.

6. Playing Experience (Design, Mobile & Performance)

As a newly launched site, StormRush has an updated, modern look that’s well curated. Not only is it neat and tidy with a modern feel, but it’s also very functional every step of the way. Pages and games load quickly with no lag or interruptions. I’m therefore surprised that the navigation isn’t optimal. For example, it would be nice to see a section for Megaways or Hold and Win slots. Also, at the top of the casino lobby, there’s no section for live dealer games.

An important aspect for us when reviewing a sweepstakes casino is responsible play. A supportive site for responsible play says to us that the brand cares about players, making it more trustworthy. I was disappointed to see that there is no designated responsible gaming page, but I’ve grown to expect this with A1 casinos.

There are helpful settings, however, that I highly recommend you utilize before you even start playing. If you go to your account, you’ll find the responsible gaming tab. Click on it to access the following settings:

Reality Check: This reminds you of your activity and can be set to occur every 10 minutes for up to 2 hours.

Purchase Limit: You can set a maximum purchase amount per day/week/ or month. This is a good way to stay within your budget.

Cool-Off: You can set the time to 1 to 30 days if you want to take a temporary break.

Self-Exclusion: If you’re struggling to control gameplay and want to take a break altogether, you can self-exclude for 6 months or indefinitely. You won’t receive any notifications from the site and will be locked out of your account.

Even though sweepstakes casinos are different from online gambling sites, it’s still possible to experience problematic issues, as it can feel like gambling. I wholeheartedly recommend setting limits as soon as you’ve registered.

StormRush doesn’t offer every customer support feature we’re used to, but it makes up for it with exemplary 24/7 live chat. Every time I contacted a live chat agent, I received a response within under five minutes. The agents are knowledgeable and really go out of their way to give clear answers.

I found that email responses took a little longer, but the responses were on point. I tried to message StormRush on Facebook and X, but received no response, so I’d recommend live chat. There’s no FAQ section in the Help Center, and I’d like to say the support bot was helpful, but it didn’t understand any of my questions and only offered to connect me with a live agent.

In terms of games, StormRush is on par with its sister sites NoLimitCoins and Fortune Wheelz on pretty much all levels. FunzCity has the fastest payouts, but StormRush is right behind, with better overall payout options. We added Rolla to the mix as it was launched around the same time. Rolla is the sister of WOW Vegas, and there appears to be almost as much energy going into it. With over 2,000 games and some fast redemption options, it’s hard to beat. However, StormRush has superior customer support and awards more gold coins. All in all, StormRush has either as many or fewer games than its sister sites, and often surpasses them with generous bonuses.

StormRush is the newest addition to the A1 family and has many of the same qualities we love about this operator. We like the look and functionality, which feels incredibly modern and well-thought-out with bonuses that fit the theme. We’d like to see more payment options and a wider variety of game types in the future. At the moment, it’s only got some medium-quality slots and live dealer games. However, it’s a trustworthy site with generous ongoing promotions.
